This feed beam tensioning cylinder is a key auxiliary element of the feed system in underground bolting jumbos. Mounted on the tensioning mechanism, it applies a constant hydraulic force via a small piston stroke, keeping the drill feed chain (or steel belt) under precise tension despite high-frequency impacts. An ultra-compact micro-stroke design (55 mm stroke) delivers up to 18 kN of thrust. Combined with a high-strength barrel, precision hard-chrome plated piston rod, multi-stage seals, and bidirectional cushioning, it maintains reliable automatic tensioning in dusty, humid, and high-vibration environments — a core component for ensuring drilling accuracy and extending chain service life.
