Compensation Cylinder
This compensation cylinder is a follow-up actuator in the precision positioning system of drilling jumbos, mounted on the compensation slide between the boom tip and the feed beam base. After the boom is roughly positioned, it hydraulically fine-tunes the feed beam's position, accurately compensating the remaining gap between the drill and the rock face so that the rock drill can engage smoothly. During drilling, it continuously absorbs drill recoil and offsets caused by uneven rock surfaces, maintaining hole depth accuracy and feed stability. Covering bores from 50 mm to 200 mm, with strokes up to 3,000 mm and thrust up to 785 kN, it meets the compensation force requirements of both medium and heavy drilling jumbos. With a high-strength alloy steel barrel, a precision hard-chrome plated piston rod, ultra-low-friction seals, and bidirectional cushioning, it delivers smooth, stick-slip-free, and leak-free linear compensation motion under extreme underground conditions of dust, vibration, and frequent cycling — a key component for drilling accuracy and efficiency.
