This telescopic cylinder is a core component of the feed system on production mining rigs (e.g., longhole drilling rigs, fan-pattern drilling rigs). Mounted on the telescopic slide at the end of the boom, it extends and retracts over a medium stroke (805 mm) to drive the feed beam and rock drill forward for precise hole depth control, and retract quickly after completion. Delivering 39 kN of thrust at 20 MPa, it is specifically designed for the continuous, stable feed required in longhole drilling. With a high-strength alloy steel barrel, hard-chrome plated piston rod, low-friction seals, and bidirectional cushioning, it ensures smooth, leak-free, and stick-slip-free motion under extreme underground conditions of dust, vibration, and continuous drilling.

Filled-PTFE and hydrolysis-resistant polyurethane seals provide a breakaway pressure as low as 0.2 MPa for smooth, stick-slip-free motion even during fine flow adjustments.
Heavy-Duty Dust Protection
A metal scraper ring and multiple wipers prevent rock dust and water ingress, protecting seals from abrasion and ensuring zero external leakage over the cylinder’s life.
Internal Cushioning
Progressive cushions at both ends eliminate end-stroke impacts and reduce noise, protecting the slide and cylinder.
Maintenance-Free & Smart-Ready
Self-lubricating composite bushings at both pivots require no greasing. An optional built-in displacement sensor provides real-time position feedback for closed-loop feed depth control.
