Boom Cylinder
This boom cylinder is the core power element of the drilling boom system in underground bolting jumbos, mounted between the carrier chassis and the front main boom. It hydraulically raises and lowers the entire boom with powerful thrust, precisely lifting the feed beam and rock drill to any anchoring height on the roadway roof and sidewalls for full-face anchor bolt drilling and installation. An ultra-high-pressure heavy-duty design (rated 22 MPa) delivers up to 339 kN of lifting force from a compact bore, easily handling the combined weight of the boom, feed beam, and rock drill. Combined with a high-strength alloy steel barrel, a precision hard-chrome plated piston rod, multi-stage dust-proof seals, and bidirectional cushioning, it provides stable, reliable, leak-free lifting motion under the severe conditions of underground high dust, intense vibration, and frequent cycling — a core component ensuring efficient bolting support and construction safety.
