Luffing Cylinder
The luffing cylinder is the primary power actuator for the boom luffing system of truck cranes and all-terrain cranes. It directly drives the main or auxiliary boom to pivot around its hinge point, determining the machine's maximum lifting height, working radius, and overall lifting capacity — making it the "main cylinder" of the crane. Featuring an oversized design (bore up to 570 mm, stroke up to 5000 mm), ultra-high pressure construction (rated 36 MPa), and a high-strength thick-walled barrel, it withstands the greatest thrust, pull, and bending loads on the entire crane. Integrated with a low-friction sealing system, adjustable cushioning safety valve packages, and smart sensing interfaces, it delivers powerful, smooth, zero-drift lifting motion and exceptional fatigue life under full-load frequent luffing, prolonged loaded suspension, and the harshest operating environments.
