Rotation Cylinder
This rotation cylinder is the core actuator of the boom rotation system in drilling jumbos, mounted between the boom base and the slewing platform. It extends and retracts its piston rod, and through a rack-and-pinion or linkage mechanism converts the linear motion into rotary motion, smoothly rotating the entire boom around the vertical or horizontal axis for precise positioning of blast holes across the full tunnel face. Covering a full bore range from 63 mm to 200 mm, with strokes up to 3,000 mm and thrust up to 942 kN, it meets the driving force requirements of both medium and heavy drilling jumbos. Combined with a high-strength alloy steel barrel, a precision hard-chrome plated piston rod, multi-stage combination seals, and bidirectional cushioning, it provides stable, precise, leak-free rotary drive under the severe conditions of underground high dust, intense vibration, and frequent rotation — a key component for ensuring efficient drilling coverage.
