Precision Stable Feed

The barrel is high-yield quenched-and-tempered steel with a honed bore; the rod is hard-chrome plated (HV900–1100) and ground. Excellent straightness and bending stiffness at full extension ensure accurate hole alignment.

Ultra-Low Breakaway & Anti-Stick-Slip

Filled-PTFE and hydrolysis-resistant polyurethane seals reduce breakaway pressure to 0.25 MPa, enabling smooth, stick-slip-free operation even at minimal flow rates — ideal for the demanding feed stability of rapid bolting.

Vibration & Side-Load Absorption

Wide bronze or composite guide rings with precise clearance absorb drilling recoil and offset forces, preventing rod scoring and extending underground service life.

Effective Dust Protection & Lifetime Sealing

A metal scraper ring and multiple wipers block rock dust, chips, and moisture. Hydrolysis-resistant polyurethane and filled-PTFE main seals guarantee zero external leakage over the cylinder’s lifetime.

Internal Cushioning & Quiet Operation

Progressive cushions at both ends eliminate end-stroke impacts, reduce noise, and protect the feed beam structure.

Maintenance-Free & Smart Integration

Self-lubricating composite bushings at both pivot points require no greasing. An optional built-in magnetostrictive displacement sensor provides real-time position feedback for closed-loop depth control and automated bolting sequences.
