The barrel is forged from high-yield quenched-and-tempered steel with 100% inspected welds. The large-diameter thick-walled piston rod is hard-chrome plated (HV900–1100), maintaining exceptional structural integrity under frequent rockfall impacts and boom offset loads.

Smooth Feed & Side-Load Absorption

Low-friction seals (breakaway ≤0.3 MPa) and wide bronze or composite guide rings absorb radial forces during eccentric hammer contact, preventing rod scoring and ensuring smooth, precise positioning.

Effective Dust Protection & Lifetime Sealing

A metal scraper ring and multiple heavy-duty wipers block rock dust, stone chips, and water. Hydrolysis-resistant polyurethane and filled-PTFE main seals guarantee zero external leakage over the cylinder’s lifetime.

Internal Cushioning & Maintenance-Free

Progressive cushions at both ends eliminate end-stroke impacts and reduce noise. Self-lubricating composite bushings at pivot points require no greasing.

Optional Smart Position Monitoring

A built-in magnetostrictive displacement sensor can provide real-time stroke feedback, enabling closed-loop depth control and anti-collision warnings.
