This transverse adjustment cylinder is a general-purpose actuator for long-distance, platform-based linear motion in paper machines, commonly used for web guiding device transverse adjustment, rewinder unwind stand long-distance swinging, tension roller position control, or cutter pusher bar movement. Built on the 50 mm bore compact platform with an extended stroke of 1,450 mm and a thicker piston rod (35 mm) for enhanced bending stiffness under long overhang, it delivers approximately 31 kN of thrust while meeting the demands of long-distance smooth movement. Combined with a precision cold-drawn barrel, a precision hard-chrome plated piston rod, low-friction composite seals, and built-in cushioning, it ensures long-term leak-free, stick-slip-free, and smooth linear motion under the high humidity, pulp fibers, and chemical additives of paper machine rooms — a key component for the automated continuous production of paper mills.

A filled-PTFE and hydrolysis-resistant polyurethane composite low-friction seal package provides extremely low breakaway pressure (≤0.15 MPa), enabling smooth, stick-slip-free response even during minimal flow fine adjustments — ideal for precise web guiding or tension control.
Anti-Corrosion & Dust Protection
A metal scraper ring and multiple heavy-duty wipers at the gland effectively block pulp fibers, fillers, and chemicals. The main seal withstands high temperature and humidity, achieving zero external leakage over the full service life.
Internal Cushioning for Noise Reduction
Progressive cushions at both ends decelerate the cylinder at the stroke limits, absorbing impact energy and protecting the mechanism and cylinder.
