The Chrome Plated ST52 Rod (Quenched & Tempered) is manufactured from premium ST52 (DIN 1.0580 / S355) carbon-manganese steel, processed with quenching and tempering (Q&T) prior to precision grinding and hard chrome plating. ST52 is inherently known for its excellent weldability and good toughness; the Q&T treatment further enhances its overall mechanical properties, delivering higher strength and hardness while retaining its welding advantages. This product is designed for medium-to-high-pressure hydraulic cylinders, construction machinery, mining equipment, marine systems and other hydraulic actuators requiring welded connections—an ideal choice that balances weldability with load-bearing capacity.
