PAZON
Bore: Φ90 mm – Φ220 mm
Rod: Φ50 mm – Φ140 mm
Stroke: ≤600 mm (per locking mechanism travel)
Operating pressure: continuous 8 MPa, max 10 MPa (low-pressure high-thrust design)
Max push force: 760 kN (at 10 MPa, Φ220 mm bore)
Max pull force: approx. 450 kN (at 10 MPa, Φ220 mm bore with Φ140 mm rod, for mold opening)
Breakaway pressure: ≤0.3 MPa
Piston velocity: 0.02 – 0.1 m/s (slow locking to ensure parallel mold closure)
Duty cycle: intermittent, 1 lock/unlock cycle per cure
Internal leakage: ≤0.005 ml/min (at 8 MPa, over seal service life) — ultra-low for sustained holding
Static holding capacity: ≤0.3 mm piston drift over 24 h under rated clamping force (with hydraulic lock)
Temperature range: -25 ℃ to +150 ℃ (withstands mold radiant heat and steam)
Suitable for: mechanical and hydraulic tire curing presses, radial tire presses
Ultra-Low Leakage, Superior Holding
A specially formulated low-friction polyurethane and filled-PTFE composite seal package, combined with redundant O-rings, achieves an exceptionally low internal leakage of ≤0.005 ml/min under sustained holding pressure. This ensures the locking force remains undiminished throughout the entire curing cycle. An integrated hydraulic lock or counterbalance valve prevents mold opening even if hydraulic pressure is lost.
High-Temperature Sealing and Thermal Protection
The main seals are made of high-temperature polyurethane or FKM composites that withstand the press’s sustained radiant heat (>150 ℃). The barrel exterior can be coated with thermal insulation or fitted with cooling fins to reduce heat transfer to the hydraulic fluid, preserving both seal and oil life.
High-Thrust, Low-Pressure Design
The large bore produces up to 760 kN of clamping force at a relatively low system pressure of just 10 MPa, reducing both hydraulic power unit energy consumption and seal wear for extended cylinder service life.
Built-In Cushioning
Progressive throttle cushions at both ends automatically decelerate the piston near the stroke limits, preventing rigid contact between the mold halves and protecting both the mold parting surfaces and the cylinder itself.
Dust and Contamination Protection
Multiple wipers and a metal scraper ring at the gland effectively block rubber residue, dust, and steam condensate, making the cylinder well-suited to the harsh curing shop environment.
Optional Intelligent Monitoring
A built-in displacement sensor can be integrated to monitor the locking position in real time, enabling closed-loop clamping force control or fault pre-warning via the press control system.
