PAZON
Our Skived & Roller Burnished (SRB) Precision Tubes are produced from high-quality seamless steel tubes using an advanced single-pass skiving and roller burnishing process. This combined machining method removes stock precisely, then cold-works and smooths the bore, delivering exceptional dimensional accuracy, a mirror-like finish, and improved surface hardness. Ideal for long-stroke hydraulic cylinders, these tubes provide consistent performance, reduced assembly cost, and extended seal life in the most demanding fluid power systems.
Inner Diameter: up to 3000 mm
Length: ≤ 16000 mm
Straightness: ≤ 0.2 mm/m
Material:
- Carbon Steel: 20# / CK45 / ST52 (E355) / 25Mn / E235 / E470
- Alloy Steel: 27SiMn / 42CrMo (AISI 4140) / AISI 4130 / 40Cr / E460 / 20Cr
- Stainless Steel: ASTM 316L / 304
Tolerance Grades: IT7 – IT9 (ID)
ID Tolerance: Typically ISO H7 / H8 / H9; special fits available on request
Heat Treatment (Base Tube):
- Stress Relieved: +SR
- Annealed: +A
- Normalized: +N
- Quenched and Tempered: Q+T
Surface Treatment: External anti-rust paint / zinc plating / nickel plating (internal bore left in as-burnished condition)
Wall Thickness Tolerance: ±7.5% (±10% for wall thickness > 210 mm)
Inner Surface Roughness: Ra 0.1 – 0.2 μm
Packing: Anti-rust oil + Plastic caps + Wooden case / Bundle with steel strip / Bundle with knitting strip
Outstanding Efficiency: The skiving and burnishing operation is completed in a single pass, dramatically reducing machining time compared to conventional honing.
Superior Surface Integrity: The roller burnishing process compresses and smooths the bore, creating a mirror finish (Ra ≤ 0.2 μm) and a work-hardened surface that resists wear and corrosion.
Enhanced Strength and Fatigue Life: Cold-working during burnishing introduces beneficial compressive residual stresses, improving fatigue resistance under cyclic pressure loads.
Excellent Straightness: Straightness ≤ 0.2 mm/m ensures smooth piston movement and minimizes uneven seal wear, especially in long-stroke cylinders.
Cost-Effective for Large IDs and Long Lengths: SRB tubes maintain consistent precision over extended lengths, reducing the need for additional finishing and shortening assembly lead times.
Broad Material Compatibility: Base tubes can be selected from a wide range of carbon, alloy, and stainless steels to match required mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.
