Stainless Steel Precision Ground Rods offer corrosion resistance without plating, available in diameters φ6–200 mm and lengths up to 6000 mm. They meet ISO f7/f8/h7 tolerance grades with Ra≤0.2 μm surface finish. A wide range of grades—austenitic, duplex, martensitic and PH—can be supplied to match specific strength and environmental requirements. Ideal for food, medical, marine and hydraulic applications, with full customization of dimensions, tolerances and material grades supported.

PAZON
Stainless Steel Precision Ground Rods are manufactured from premium stainless steel hot-rolled or cold-drawn bars, finished by precision grinding. Without any additional surface coating, they rely on the inherent excellent corrosion resistance of stainless steel, combined with tight dimensional tolerances and an exceptionally smooth surface finish. They are widely used in food machinery, medical devices, chemical hydraulic systems, marine equipment, and damp or corrosive environments as precision piston rods, guide rods and shafts. A wide range of stainless steel grades can be supplied—including austenitic, duplex, ferritic, martensitic and precipitation-hardening types—to flexibly meet requirements for strength, corrosion resistance and cost.

Straightness: ≤0.2 mm/M
Tolerance Grades: IT6–IT9
OD Tolerance: According to ISO f7/f8/g6/h7/h8/h9; customized tolerances available upon request
Ovality: Half of the tolerance value ISO f7
Core Hardness: Depending on the stainless steel grade, typically ≤200 HB (e.g., for austenitic grades; martensitic and PH grades can be significantly hardened by subsequent heat treatment)
Surface Treatment: No plating, bare stainless steel ground finish; passivation available upon request
Surface Roughness: Ra≤0.2 μm, Rt≤2 μm
Packing: Anti-rust oil + cardboard tube/plastic sleeve + wooden case
Intrinsic Corrosion Resistance: The stainless steel substrate itself provides excellent anti-corrosion performance without relying on any coating, eliminating the risk of coating peeling
High Precision Ground Finish: Strict dimensional tolerances and exceptionally low surface roughness allow direct integration with high-precision hydraulic seals and bearings
Extensive Material Choice: Covering austenitic (304/316), duplex (2205), ferritic, martensitic (410/420) and precipitation-hardening (17-4PH) grades to meet diverse demands for strength, temperature resistance, and magnetic properties
Hygienic and Clean: The smooth surface resists contaminant adhesion, ideal for food-grade and medical clean environments
