PAZON
Bore diameter: Φ80 mm – Φ300 mm
Rod diameter: Φ50 mm – Φ185 mm
Stroke: ≤1000 mm (customizable for flow requirements)
Operating pressure: continuous 8 MPa, max 11 MPa
Max push force: 780 kN (at 11 MPa, Φ300 mm bore)
Max pull force: 480 kN (at 11 MPa, with Φ185 mm rod)
Breakaway pressure: <0.1 MPa (ultra-low friction for energy saving)
Piston velocity: 0 – 110 mm/s (smooth variable speed)
Duty cycle: continuous 24-hour cycling, year-round operation
Internal leakage (seawater side): <5 ml/min (at rated pressure, ensures consistent output flow)
External hydraulic oil leakage: zero (sealing system completely eliminates oil weepage)
Temperature range: -20℃ to +30℃ (standard, matching natural seawater temperatures)
Media: natural seawater, brackish water, seawater containing microorganisms and fine sediment
Weld-Free Duplex Stainless Steel Construction
The barrel, gland, cap, piston rod and port bosses are all machined from duplex stainless steel (UNS S32205/S31803) forgings or bar stock with no welded joints. This provides outstanding resistance to chloride pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, ensuring total immunity to long-term seawater immersion.
Full Bore Ceramic Coating
Both the cylinder bore and the piston rod are coated with a high-performance ceramic layer (plasma-sprayed chromium oxide or alumina-chromium oxide composite) with a hardness exceeding HV 1200. This resists silt abrasion, reduces friction, and dramatically extends seal life.
Specialized Anti-Fouling Seal System
The main seal uses a specially formulated seawater-resistant polyurethane and filled PTFE combination. The rod seal pack includes a front scraper ring and a polymeric wiper that effectively remove microorganisms, algae, and fine sediment, preventing seal wear and leakage, and guaranteeing zero oil leakage over the long term.
Integrated Seawater Inlet/Outlet Valves
Custom-designed suction and discharge check valves can be integrated into the cylinder body or manifold plate, ensuring reliable opening and closing at low suction pressure and high discharge pressure, with no backflow or cavitation, boosting overall pump efficiency.
Absolutely Oil-Free Assembly & Degreasing
All components in contact with seawater undergo a strict oil-free assembly and degreasing process, ensuring no mineral oil contamination on seawater-contacting surfaces, meeting drinking water pre-treatment and marine environmental regulations.
Low Energy Consumption & Low Friction
Breakaway pressure under 0.1 MPa and extremely low running friction minimize the driving power required at working speeds up to 110 mm/s, contributing to a lower specific energy consumption of the overall desalination system.
Optional Intelligent Monitoring
A linear displacement sensor and pressure transducer can be integrated to provide real-time piston position and cylinder pressure data for precision process control in desalination plants, supporting automated operation and remote monitoring.
