This mast raising cylinder series is the core power component for the mast systems of oil drilling rigs, workover rigs, and truck-mounted drilling equipment. It smoothly raises the mast from a horizontal transport position to a vertical working position, and safely lowers it back down. As the critical first step in rig deployment, the cylinder features an ultra-long stroke, high-thrust multi-stage telescopic design with a maximum stroke of up to 14,000mm, fully raising multi-section masts from a compact installed length. Integrating an extreme heavy-duty structure, low-friction long-life seals, and anti-sway safety valve packages, it ensures stable lifting and zero-drift locking even in extreme temperature swings, high winds, and sandy environments typical of deserts and offshore platforms, significantly improving operational efficiency and crew safety.

Massive Thrust & Ultra-Long Stroke
Single-stage or multi-stage telescopic designs overcome the tight installation length limits of the rig carrier. The final stage rod is a super-large-diameter solid forging that delivers thrust several times the mast’s weight, even when the mast center of gravity passes beyond the pivot point and generates a huge overturning moment — ensuring smooth, non-binding, judder-free lifting.
Anti-Sway Locking & Safety
Standard integrated high-flow counterbalance valve or hydraulic lock allows the mast to be safely stopped and locked at any intermediate angle. Even if a sudden wind gust or hydraulic line burst occurs, the cylinder instantly self-locks, preventing uncontrolled lowering or tipping, guaranteeing intrinsic crew safety.
Ultra-Low Friction & High Side-Load Resistance
Wide, one-piece high-capacity composite guide rings at every stage, paired with low-friction filled PTFE seals, keep breakaway pressure down to 0.4 MPa. The system effectively resists bending and side loads from wind and mast sway, protecting the piston rod surface from scoring.
Comprehensive Surface Protection
Piston rod options include hard chrome, Ni/Cr alloy plating, laser cladding, or ceramic spray. The barrel exterior is coated with weather-resistant anticorrosion paint, resisting offshore salt spray, desert sand abrasion, and arctic exposure.
Wide Temperature Range Sealing
Standard -40℃ cold-resistant seals prevent brittleness in low-viscosity hydraulic oil. Optional high-temperature seals for hot deserts or geothermal areas maintain smooth, reliable mast operation.
Integrated Monitoring & Maintenance-Free
Optional built-in displacement sensors enable real-time lifting height monitoring and multi-cylinder synchronization. Self-lubricating composite bushings in both clevis or spherical bearings eliminate grease fittings and provide low-wear, long-life service under sustained outdoor high loads.
