This mobile workbench cylinder is a critical auxiliary actuator in forging press lines. Mounted between the press base and the mobile workbench, it hydraulically moves the workbench along guide rails into and out of the pressing station, enabling rapid changeover of upper and lower anvils, billet loading/unloading, and flexible switching between multi-step forging operations. A double-acting, ultra-long-stroke piston design (up to 7,500 mm) integrates wide bronze guide bushings and a replaceable V-pack sealing system, delivering up to 2,533 kN of thrust and pull while withstanding the side loads and inertial shocks of heavy workbench movement. Built-in magnetostrictive displacement sensors enable multi-cylinder synchronized closed-loop positioning. Together with super-nut locking, optional booster cylinders, and rotary unions, it is ideally suited for large-tonnage open-die and die-forging press lines, significantly reducing auxiliary time and boosting forging productivity.

Ultra-Long Stroke & Synchronized Positioning
Strokes span several meters. Built-in magnetostrictive displacement sensors (±0.05 mm repeatability) report absolute workbench position in real time. Working with servo hydraulic valves, multi-cylinder synchronized closed-loop control ensures the workbench moves smoothly over its full travel and locks precisely at the die-change or forging position, with no misalignment or impact.
High Thrust/Pull & Side-Load Resistance
The barrel and piston rod are crafted from high-yield quenched and tempered alloy steel, with FEA-optimized stress distribution. Wide bronze guide bushings with precision clearance control absorb radial forces from uneven workbench loading and side loads, preventing rod scoring and uneven guide wear for long-term reliability.
V-Pack Sealing, Long-Life & Easy Maintenance
A multi-layer V-ring polyurethane/fabric composite seal assembly with replaceable adjustment shims automatically compensates for compression set under sustained high pressure and high-frequency movement, maintaining zero external leakage. Seal replacement requires only gland removal, greatly reducing downtime.
Super-Nut Locking for Vibration Resistance
All tie-rod and side-cylinder fasteners utilize mechanical super-nuts that maintain a constant preload under the intense vibration of forging hammers, completely eliminating the risk of hydraulic leakage or workbench misalignment from bolt loosening.
Flexible Options: Booster Cylinder & Rotary Union
An optional integrated booster cylinder allows a significantly smaller bore while delivering the same force, reducing system cost. An optional high-pressure rotary union provides leak-free rotational freedom for piping, optimizing equipment layout.
Internal Cushioning & Noise Reduction
Progressive end-of-stroke cushions inside the cylinder automatically decelerate the piston and absorb impact energy, lowering noise and protecting the workbench, dies, and the cylinder itself.
