The boom cylinder is the core actuator for mini excavators, directly responsible for lifting and lowering the boom. It determines the machine's digging depth, lifting capacity, and cycle efficiency. Built with high-strength materials, advanced sealing and cushioning technologies, and multiple surface protection options, it delivers stable, safe, and long-lasting performance under heavy digging loads, frequent cycling, and harsh environments.

Heavy-Duty Anti-Fatigue Design
The barrel is crafted from high-strength quenched and tempered alloy steel, with weld zones inspected by both ultrasonic and magnetic particle testing. The piston rod is precision hard chrome plated (HV900–1100, Ra≤0.1μm). Bench tests confirm a fatigue life exceeding 2.5 million lift cycles, ensuring durability under heavy digging and frequent reversing conditions.
Ultra-Low Breakaway Pressure
Low-friction polyurethane/filled PTFE combination seals keep breakaway pressure below 0.3MPa. This enables precise boom inching control without stick-slip, making fine grading and slope trimming smoother and more responsive.
Comprehensive Corrosion Protection
Multiple rod surface finishes — hard chrome, Ni/Cr alloy plating, ceramic thermal spray, laser cladding, QPQ nitriding — effectively resist corrosion from mud, coastal salt spray, de-icing agents, and other aggressive media, extending the overall service life.
Cushioning & Noise Reduction
Progressive cushion rings integrated at both ends absorb hydraulic shock during boom raise and lower, reducing vibration and noise on the frame and linkage, while maintaining full digging power and work efficiency.
Integrated Hydraulic Valve System
Ready for integration with counterbalance valves (burst protection), dual pilot-operated check valves (position holding), and orifice throttles for safe, controlled lowering. Pre-plumbed hose/tube assemblies are available for plug-and-play installation.
Smart Sensor Interface
Designed with space allowance for built-in magnetostrictive displacement sensors for closed-loop boom position control (±0.15mm accuracy), enabling electric control upgrades and assisted automation.
Maintenance-Free Pivots
Rod-end and base-end forgings come standard with self-lubricating composite bushings, eliminating daily greasing while offering excellent wear and corrosion resistance. Optional spherical bearings or hydrostatic bushings accommodate misalignment and broader articulation angles.
Ultra-low temperature seal package (-50℃ to +100℃)
Extreme corrosion resistance (stainless steel body + full ceramic piston rod)
Built-in displacement sensor (analog/digital/PWM output)
Explosion-proof certification (ATEX / MA mining)
Special mounting lengths, port sizes, and connection styles
High-frequency duty upgrade (up to 30 cycles/min)
