This stick cylinder series is purpose-built for 20–80 ton medium and large crawler excavators. Serving as the core hydraulic actuator for stick extension and retraction, it handles digging, loading, and dumping operations. With a 35 MPa ultra-high pressure design, thick-walled barrel, large-diameter piston rod, high-flow hydraulic control system, adjustable cushion valve, and intelligent sensor interface, it delivers robust force and low downtime in demanding applications such as overburden removal, heavy rock handling, and deep trench excavation.

Ultra-High Pressure Long-Life Structure
The barrel is constructed from high-tensile alloy steel — forged or heavy-wall cold-drawn — and thoroughly quenched and tempered. Critical welds are 100% UT and MT inspected, and stress concentrations are locally reinforced and stress-relieved. The piston rod is precision hard chrome plated (HV900–1100, Ra≤0.1μm). Bench fatigue tests confirm over 2 million cycles under alternating loads, easily handling continuous overburden and heavy digging.
Ultra-Low Breakaway for Smooth Control
The primary seal package uses extrusion-resistant polyurethane and filled PTFE combined with low-friction support rings. Breakaway pressure stays below 0.4 MPa, translating to smooth stick movement without stick-slip, which enhances fine grading performance.
High-Flow Dual Ports & Pressure Monitoring
Standard large-diameter dual oil ports accommodate high-flow systems, reducing back pressure and power loss. Built-in pressure test points allow real-time monitoring of cylinder working pressure, supporting predictive maintenance and equipment health management.
Adjustable End Cushioning System
The piston integrates adjustable cushioning valve spools at both ends. Operators or service personnel can fine-tune cushion intensity to smoothly absorb hydraulic shock at full extension and retraction, reducing frame and linkage vibration while maintaining breakout force and cycle time.
Comprehensive Anti-Corrosion Protection
Multiple rod finishing options — hard chrome, Ni/Cr alloy plating, laser cladding, ceramic spray, QPQ nitriding, zinc-nickel plating — together with high-corrosion-resistant painting, ensure reliable operation in humid mines, coastal reclamation, and tunnel slurry environments.
Enhanced Reliability at Failure-Prone Zones
FEA-driven optimization at critical areas such as clevis roots, port welds, and barrel-to-end transition radii, combined with ultrasonic peening or shot peening processes, reduces stress concentration and boosts fatigue resistance.
Smart Sensing Upgrade
A built-in magnetostrictive linear displacement sensor can be integrated (analog/digital/PWM output) for closed-loop position control with ±0.2mm accuracy, supporting intelligent digging, semi-autonomous loading, and remote monitoring.
Maintenance-Free Pivots & Safety Integration
Self-lubricating composite bushings are standard in rod-end and base-end forgings, eliminating the need for grease. Optional spherical bearings available. Counterbalance valves, dual pilot-operated check valves, and orifice throttles can be integrated to safely hold the stick position even in the event of hose burst. Pre-assembled pipe and hose kits are also available.
