This bucket cylinder series is designed for 20 to 80 metric ton medium and large hydraulic excavators. As the final actuator controlling bucket curl for cutting, loading, and dumping, it directly determines breakout force and cycle productivity. Built to a 35 MPa ultra-high pressure specification, it features high burst force, strong side-load tolerance, and excellent impact resistance. Integrated adjustable cushioning, large-flow dual ports, and a smart sensing interface ensure consistent, efficient output in extreme operations including overburden removal, rock excavation, and heavy-duty truck loading.

Ultra-High Pressure Heavy-Duty Strength
The barrel is manufactured from high-strength alloy steel, either forged or heavy-wall cold-drawn, and undergoes rigorous quenching and tempering. All critical welds receive 100% UT and MT inspection, while FEA-driven reinforcement is applied to high-stress areas such as clevis roots, barrel-to-end transition radii, and port weld zones. The piston rod features precision hard chrome plating (hardness HV900–1100, roughness Ra≤0.1μm). Bench fatigue testing confirms over 2 million cycles under alternating loads, delivering stable reliability under heavy digging and side-loading conditions.
Ultra-Low Breakaway for Precise Control
Low-friction polyurethane/filled PTFE main seals with specialized guide rings keep breakaway pressure under 0.45 MPa, eliminating stick-slip during bucket movement. This ensures smooth, responsive operation in fine grading, slope trimming, and precise dumping applications.
High-Flow Dual Ports & Real-Time Pressure Monitoring
Standard large-diameter dual ports accommodate modern high-flow systems, minimizing throttling losses and heat buildup. Built-in pressure test ports allow direct installation of pressure sensors for real-time monitoring of piston-side and rod-side pressures, providing critical data for predictive maintenance and overload protection.
Adjustable End Cushioning System
Adjustable cushioning valve spools integrated at both piston ends allow operators or service personnel to fine-tune cushioning intensity. Bucket shock at full curl and full dump is smoothly absorbed, reducing dynamic loads and noise on pins, linkages, and the swing bearing, while maintaining breakout force and cycle speed.
Comprehensive Anti-Corrosion Protection
Multiple rod surface finishes are available to suit environmental conditions: hard chrome, Ni/Cr alloy plating, laser cladding, ceramic thermal spray, QPQ nitriding, and zinc-nickel plating. Combined with high-durability anti-corrosion paint, these extend service life in acidic mine water, coastal salt spray, and tunnel slurry.
Reinforced Critical Zones
Finite element stress analysis guides optimization at clevis welds, reinforcement pads, and threaded connections, with ultrasonic peening or shot peening applied to eliminate residual stresses, significantly improving fatigue strength and ensuring zero leaks and zero cracks at failure-prone points.
Smart Sensing Upgrade
A built-in magnetostrictive linear displacement sensor (analog/digital/PWM output) is available for closed-loop bucket position or angle control with ±0.2mm accuracy, providing essential feedback for semi-autonomous digging, grade control systems, and remote telematics.
Safety Integration & Maintenance-Free Pivots
Counterbalance valves, dual pilot-operated check valves, and orifice throttles can be integrated—keeping the bucket safely in position even if a hose bursts. Rod-end and base-end forgings come standard with self-lubricating composite bushings requiring no daily greasing; spherical bearings are optional to accommodate higher misalignment. Pre-plumbed pipe and hose assemblies reduce OEM assembly time.
