This track tension cylinder series is engineered for medium and large hydraulic excavators. It continuously adjusts track tension to prevent derailment and slippage, ensuring stable and safe travel. With an ultra-high pressure design (rated 35 MPa), oversized bore, thick-walled barrel, and excellent side-load capacity, combined with long-life sealing and multiple anti-corrosion treatments, it delivers exceptional reliability and durability in extreme environments such as quarries, mines, and swampy terrain.

Ultra-High Pressure Heavy-Duty Structure
The barrel is fashioned from high-yield alloy steel, either forged or heavy-wall cold-drawn and quenched/tempered, with 100% UT on critical welds. The piston rod is hard chrome plated and precision polished. The design withstands continuous 35 MPa pressure and severe track impacts, achieving a fatigue life exceeding 1.2 million tension cycles.
High Side-Load Capacity
Enlarged rod diameter and extended guide bushing length, combined with wear-resistant guiding bands, effectively absorb lateral forces from track misalignment, preventing rod bending and scoring.
Long-Life Sealing & Low Friction
The main sealing system consists of extrusion-resistant polyurethane/reinforced PTFE, with low-friction support rings. A heavy-duty metal wiper ring keeps out mud, stones, and ice. This ensures stable performance in open-pit mines and frozen ground.
Full-Spectrum Corrosion Protection
Multiple rod surface finishes are available: hard chrome, Ni/Cr alloy plating, laser cladding, ceramic thermal spray, QPQ, and zinc-nickel plating, resisting high humidity, acidic mine water, and coastal salt spray.
Integrated Smart Cushioning & Adjustment
A built-in adjustable cushioning valve allows the operator to fine-tune cushioning characteristics according to track tension and ride feel, eliminating rigid impact and reducing wear on the track chain and final drive. Pre-installed pressure test ports allow real-time monitoring.
Safety Integration & Easy Service
Large-diameter dual oil ports can be specified for rapid fill/drain. Integrated hydraulic locks and counterbalance valves lock cylinder tension even if a hose bursts, preventing sudden track slack. A grease filling port is reserved on the barrel to suit traditional maintenance practices.
Maintenance-Free Pivots & Custom Mounting
Self-lubricating composite bushings are standard in both rod-end and base-end forgings, eliminating greasing and lasting beyond the machine’s overhaul cycle. Spherical bearings and custom mounting flanges or pin dimensions are available for full interchangeability.
