Wing Blade Angle Cylinder
This wing blade angle cylinder is the core actuator of the wing (side wing) system on railway ballast regulating machines, mounted at the articulation between the side wing arm and the wing blade. During ballast profiling, it hydraulically swings the wing blade around its pivot, precisely adjusting the cutting angle relative to the rail to control ballast flow direction, heap height, and profiling width. A short-stroke, high-thrust double-acting design (170 mm stroke) delivers up to 171 kN of thrust and 80 kN of pull at 18 MPa, easily overcoming ballast resistance to drive the wing blade into precise position. Combined with a high-strength alloy steel barrel, a precision hard-chrome plated piston rod, multi-stage combination seals, and bidirectional cushioning, it provides long-term, high-precision, stick-slip-free, leak-free angle drive under the severe conditions of high vibration, heavy impact, dust, and all-weather outdoor operation on the track — a key component for ensuring profiling quality and efficiency.
